Vantrue E3 Sample Videos

The Vantrue E3, or Element 3, is a 3-channel dash cam that was released in 2023.

We have compiled a collection of sample videos for each of the E3’s three video channels (front, rear, and interior).

This should prove helpful if you’re considering whether to buy the this camera.

Vantrue E3 Front Video Sample, Day

The forward facing camera records fair video quality during the day. Readability of license plates is hit-and-miss, even when pausing the video.

Vantrue E3 Front Video Sample, Night

At night, the forward facing camera records fair video, too. It’s easy to see what’s going on around us.

However, even though the road is brightly lit, it is very hard or impossible to read other cars’ license plates under most circumstances.

Vantrue E3 Rear Video Sample, Day

Day time video of the rear camera is also fair.

Again, it’s hard to read other cars’ license plates even when they are close, except for the car standing directly behind us when we stop at a traffic light.

Vantrue E3 Rear Video Sample, Night

At night, the rear camera records downright poor video. Footage is blurry and you can’t even see other cars clearly, let alone read their number plates.

Vantrue E3 Interior Video Sample, Day

The interior camera records very good video during the day.

Vantrue E3 Interior Video Sample, Night

At night, the interior camera records fair video. The front seats are clearly visible, but the rear seats are much too dark.

Where To Buy

We find that the Vantrue E3’s video quality is rather disappointing for its original price of $300. It is now available at a 50% discount though ($150 coupon), so in case you’re interested order it from:

Amazon US / CA / UK
